Last year nearly 100
people who care about the environment, just like you, converged on
the capitol for one day to meet with key legislators and help push
for the passage of important environmental legislation! Please join
us in Springfield on March 10, 2010, for our annual citizen lobby
day!
We'll be working to
advance solar power, clean up our waterways, and protect children and
the environment from toxic chemicals--and we need your help. No
lobbying or policy experience is necessary, and we encourage you to
bring spouses, friends and children.

Energy
More energy efficiency for Illinois
Last year, Environment Illinois helped to pass a law that requires our
electric utilities to help their customers save energy. If done right,
this program will save about one billion kilowatt-hours of electricity
per year, approximately the amount that 100,000 people would use in a
year. Now, we're working to make sure these landmark energy efficiency standards are implemented properly. Read more.
